Nissan designed its entry level sedan Versa in 2012 and 2014, finally, the 2014 Nissan Versa hatchback version, which is now known as the Versa Note updated. The “Note” part of the name comes from the overseas division of Nissan, where the car is known only by that name, but for the American market that wanted to keep a family nickname instead. Nissan Versa proudly promotes family (sedan and hatchback) as the entry level vehicle selling hatchback in America and the update should only reinforce that statement.
