The Honda Integra (sold in some markets as Acura Integra) was an automobile from Japanese car maker Honda produced from 1985 to 2006 succeeded the Honda Quint slightly larger derivative of the Civic and every generation of the Acura Integra was derived from the contemporary generation of the Civic. As luxury and sports-oriented than the fifth, was the integration of the launch models for Acura, 1986, together with the legend. During his lifetime, the Acura Integra was regarded for its handling and performance.
The Acura Integra name was originally used by Honda to refer to their VT250F motorcycle and is currently being used to refer to the scooter version of its NC700 series of motorcycles. Car and Driver magazine named the Acura Integra, its annual Ten Best list six times: 1987, 1988 and 1994 to 1997. The GS-R model was designed in 1994 and 1995. It has a return on the top ten list called the Acura RSX, in the years 2002 and 2003. The Integra Type-R (DC2) the “best front-wheel-drive car driver of all time” was named by Evo Magazine in 2006.
Acura Integra 4-Wheel Drive (DB9)
The Acura Integra third generation also saw the production of a four-wheel drive option. Only in the four-door sedan that ZXi4WD (93-95) and Xi4WD (95-00) were coupled to a version of Honda’s Real Time AWD 1.6L SOHC ZC engines.
Acura Integra Integra SJ (EN3)
The Japanese: Acura Integra SJ was a rebadged Civic Ferio, with the modified headlamps and grille similar to Orthia and slightly larger taillights. The Integra SJ was sold in Japan at Honda Verno dealerships. It comes from the Honda Domani other derivitave this vehicle at Honda Clio locations sold. It was produced from 1996 to 2001 and used the 1493 cc D15B engine. Honda press material from the time that the SJ should provide a “formal sedan” for the Integra range; may have been another reason for a sportier model name at Honda Verno dealerships in Japan for sale Ferios, as was the case with the Nissan Laurel Spirit. Acura Integra Motorsport
The Acura Integra and the Acura RSX were popular in the automotive racing. The SCCA World Challenge has for many years used Acura Integra / Acura RSX in his GT groups. Several cars were entered in the 2009 British Touring Car Championship season, and won the 2003 Asian Touring Car Series.
